SAVE THE DATE | 5-26-2022 – “MEANTIME / ELSEWHERE RMX”
From may 26th 2022 we’ll release a new Ep based on some remix tracks made by some artist friend of us and taken from our new album Meantime/Elsewhere, still available in digital and limited edition cassette format from Midira Records.
Meantime/Elsewhere RMX will be out for our own small label AR Recordings and it will consist of four songs that will be released on our YouTube channel one at a time and every Thursday once a week (yes, just like a sort of tv series). After the latest release, the Ep will also be published on Bandcamp, where it will be available as a free download.

“COHESION” BY MIDIRA RECORDS | AID TO THE UKRAINIAN PEOPLE
Midira Records released Cohesion right now. It’s a compilation of previously unreleased and newly recorded tracks by 23 Midira artists. We’re really pleased to be into this project with a new track.
It’s a very very important thing because all proceeds will be donated to aid organisations who are helping the people of Ukraine.

Every single cent will be donated in equal parts to the german accounts – because Midira is a german label – of those three aid organisations: Red Cross, Unicef, Bündnis Entwicklung Hilft (alliance of german aid organisations).

AGATE ROLLINGS | “MEANTIME/ELSEWHERE” GLOBAL YOUTUBE PREMIÈRE
Meantime / Elsewhere (Midira Records) is sort of a concept album which explains a nocturnal inner journey through sounds. The focus of the concept is a human being who is wandering aimlessly through the streets of a great metropolis at night, separating his being here and now from his real will about his desired earthly existence.
Each step through the city – and beyond the horizon of its desolate suburbs – corresponds with a reflection on the state of things in a material reality that increasingly thins the boundaries with the inner reality of the subject. Each song is associated with a title that reports a physical position during the nocturnal journey or a specific reflection on the inner condition generated by the place or state of mind of the individual at that particular moment.
The YouTube première – scheduled for January 13 at 9:30 pm – consists of playing the entire album accompanying it to a series of moving images and reflections from the inner condition of the subject of the journey.

We are really proud to announce the free streaming release of Il paese interiore, a wonderful medium-length film written and directed by Luca Calvetta with photography and editing by Massimiliano Curcio.
In addition to the chants of Anna Maria Civico and the Rhosa Trio, the soundtrack contains many of our tracks including some from our new album out this year.
Il paese interiore is a poetic journey into the most mysterious region of Italy, Calabria, explaining the beauty and the wounds beyond any stereotype. It’s a monologue in images and words interpreted by Ascanio Celestini and inspired by the work of the anthropologist Vito Teti.
